It's been called "Heel Appeal" - the fun of watching a dominant dame go to work on a luckless opponent.
The Heel (think Magnificent Mimi or Devil Masami) is ruthless and relentless. She targets her opponent's weak spots without mercy and softens her up by means of a steady, systematic beating. Finally, having toyed with her prey so painfully that spectators fear for the victim's safety, the Heel applies the hold that forces a sobbing submission. The popularity of Heel matches proves that prolonged punishment is a key ingredient in many match-ups between women. And this raises a question: how important do you consider cruelty to be? |

I think it is important. In usuall story used to be the hell cheats to get the advantage sometimes with a foreign object. Then when the heel has the advantage they begin to sadistically torture the face, then the heel makes a mistake and the face gets the upper hand and the heel begs for mercy but in the end gets pummeled by face

I guess there's a fine line between dominance and cruelty. Cruelty suggests the dominant fighter is hurting her opponent for her own sadistic pleasure. However, for me, it is hotter to perceive the dominant fighter's motivation being all about proving herself the better woman. At any cost.
Ultimately, the outcome will be much the same for the poor wrestler/fighter on the receiving end of this dominating display. But it's that ever-so-subtle difference in the motivation of the better fighter that changes the feel of the fight. Think of it this way... If the dominant wrestler is motivated purely by cruelty, she's basically saying "I'm hurting you cos because I enjoy it." However, if that dominance is more about being a showcase for the dominant wrestler's superiority, then she's essentially saying "I'm hurting you because I'm better than you." And for me, that's a lot sexier. ![]() I think part of my feelings about this may come from my own preferences too, as I often shy away from 'traditional' heel/face roles in matches. In many of the custom videos I've ordered from different sites, I've often put the more likely 'jobber/babyface' girls in the role of the heel, and vice versa. However, the themes of dominance, of that steady, systematic (and usually one-sided) beating... those are present in all of my many videos. You can't beat the classics!

I like to see even matches, so for me at the end the winner too spent to be sadistic. But I don't care for "friendly matches". I remember as a kid, watching the rare women wrestling matches on TV and I hated it when they would shake hands after a match. they were supposed to be fighting because they didn't like each other and as mentioned before, prove who was the better woman.
Still, they should never leave any doubt who the loser is.....
