I'd like to make a little survey for the fans of mixed wrestling.

What do you like about mixed fights? What gets your blood pumping? What are looking for in a mixed site? What are your favorite sites?

I'm not much into it, reason being it's often one-sided (girl winning). There are some here and there where the guy wins, but it's too few and far in between.

I love the idea of it, battle of the sexes if you will.

I guess what gets my blood pumping about it would be, the idea of competing against (well for me) a woman, trying to see who is better and or stronger. It's nice to see some back and forth action on it really. Me, when I got into this whole scene, growing up while trying to find the one, maybe I could find that one girl who loves wrestling as well. Never happened, but I did find a magnificently amazing woman, who I married but I digress.

When it comes to mixed wrestling on the internet, one, it's few and far between. You find a new company you haven't seen, check'em out and there is mixed, however the woman wins. No matter what. The guy could be taller and bigger and somehow the wily woman gets in control, stays in control and that's it. I'm not saying I want to see women get their asses kicked but a lot of stuff is just unrealistic out there.

If I've ever seen one site that gets it right...it's sleeperkid. He wins, he loses (not much but he does) and it's just all together good stuff. I've been following SKW since before his own stuff, when he was compiling all of these pictures and videos. Seeing his stuff go from the simple living room, with a blanket down on the ground all the way to his huge ass mat room he has now is impressive. To even get indy wrestlers from across the country to do videos is impressive. He's the one site I think of when it does have mixed wrestling, it gets it right.

Good Afternoon Audrey, I am really into mixed fighting too, BUT, I love seeing the Woman the absolute Conquerer every time and I love seeing a classic Victory Pose with the girls shoe or foot on the losers Chest, belly or manhood. By & large, I'm not a fan of most commercial mixed wrestling on account of it usually being one-sided. The scenario's typically a really well-built gal basically beating up some pudgy, if not flat-out overweight, opponent who doesn't offer much (if any resistance). If that's your thing, well...

Mixedwrestlingzone, though, really has it going on with both competitors being in great shape & really wrestling each other. Even if the guy does lose, at least he puts up a fight. If I have to watch some mixed matches, I'd rather they be on that site's level of work.

I'm something of a dichotemy, as far as mixed wrestling goes. I've been in nearly 400 mixed wrestling videos, all of which pretty much match the scenario described by CHB above - Although, there is obviously a market for that sort of action.

In terms of spectating though, I have little to no interest in matches where the women win. And to be honest, I find the matches offered by mixedwrestlingzone and DWW even less appealing, because they obviously want to imply the male is 'going for it', perhaps even going so far to suggest the action is genuinely competitive - but we know it isn't.

And ironically, I think it's a lot more realistic that a reasonably fit woman could beat an overweight, out of shape bloke (like meself!), rather than the general younger, fitter, athletic males used by the sites mentioned above.

As I mentioned in a previous post, I have a theory that guys who's primary interest is in mixed wrestling generally prefer seeing a dominant female. But many f/f fans generally prefer seeing a dominant male in a mixed match - Look at the majority of custom videos from sites such as Sleeperkid's World and DT Wrestling, and you'll see that most of their mixed videos are all about the male winning, ofen in one-sided bouts.
