Default Website Alert -Ripped me off

Hi everyone
I know this is something different from what you guys post in here but i thought of just giving you a friendly alert about it so that you guys avoid the rip off i 've been into.

I've joined
Lets Wrestle Girls ... Real Girls Submission Wrestling ... No Fake ... No Fantasy ... Only Real Action !!!
and also paid a full membership to download the 5 video clips that i could see as preview (photos). When i paid however i could only download 3 videos the other two i was getting the message ' no more downloads' and i was wondering how come ? since i haven't downloaded at all these two clips. I ve send 3 messages to the owner- they have this Contact Us section but now its been one weekl and i haven't received any email or message back. Just ignorance but on the other hand since they got my money why would they bother to answer?
I won't be ever visiting them again since they only care about getting our money

I went and looked at this sight. You should have known better when they advertise all Latin girls and the one girl in the photos on opening page is black.

Default Possible Solution.

Don't know what they charged you, but I have 2 checking accounts at
my bank with two different debit cards. I have my primary account for
my major trustworthy activity, which is where my main funds are located,
and my secondary account, which I keep from 5 cents to 99 cents, until
I make an internet purchase. I then transfer the necessary funds from my
primary to my secondary(internet account) and make my purchase from
my secondary. In your case, what you should do is go immediately to your
bank, file a report, and most of the time your bank is capable of retrieving
those funds for you. Depending on the bank, you may have to change
your account number, and at least wait for them to send you a new debit
card. As for myself, I only keep less than $ 1.00 in my internet account
anyway, and even if I do have to get another debit card on my internet
(secondary) account, I still have my primary account debit card that I
can use while I wait for my new secondary debit card. Inconvenience is
almost thoroughly avoided. More than likely, your bank will be able to get
you a full refund by you filling out a form. Two accounts give you greater
flexibility and less inconvenience in such a situation. It even beats paypal.

Default Look like a legal company.

Just checked that website and they appear to
exist and may be just a hard one on one contact.
I don't see why your bank shouldn't be able to
get your money back if you feel you were ripped
off. The company may be a little irate or maybe
not but they will probably cooperate, especially if
they did send something and it's not a fake company.

Excellent. But I still suggest a secondary account over even paypal.
Paypal looks like a happy medium between merchant and consumer but
they don't really try to get your money back. Paypal is actually more
beneficial to the merchant than the consumer. Your bank will generally
fight harder to get your money back than paypal. Merchants love paypal
because the funds are right there. Secondary debit card favors the
consumer because if there is only 69 cents in the account after purchase,
then no further purchases are available beyond that 69 cents. On the other
hand, paypal will continue to take funds from your primary account to fit
the merchants needs unless you stop them. Just because there is nothing
in your paypal account doesn't mean there has to be to make a purchase.
Paypal will go to your primary account, say $11,000.00 and make the
purchase. They'll assume you authorized this and they are saving you the
hassle of transferring funds. Unfortunately, they also assume this on
recurring payments that you weren't told about by the merchant. Eek!
I've since stuck to the 2 checking account 69 cent procedure and have
had no problems on the internet since. I have had a paypal account for
years. They keep sending me emails asking me why I don't use them to
make a purchase, but I am not in that much of a hurry to see the merchant
gets his money right away if my secondary debit is good. I feel perfectly
willing to make internet purchases if the merchant is willing to meet me
halfway. Hope I've been helpful.

I like Dlemay9's idea of a secondary acct. I'd recommend the same particularly if you're going to join a site based overseas. Yours truly is still in the process of cleaning up from a bad attempt to hack my main checking account, most likely from info gleamed from that membership. Not to say that American based sites are necessarily better secured, but...

Thanks for your positive opinion and I'd also like to express my experiences with downloads that might be helpful.

1. Make sure the device you are downloading to can support the memory or
it's like downloading to your recycle bin. I've done that with flash drives!
However! Flashdrives are also a godsend for showing videos or playing
music because they are an electronic device as opposed to a
mechanical device such as an external or your internal. I use my
flash drives for playback and my externals for storage. Hope my
external last longer than last time. Computer video really makes
a hard drive work. Not streaming video, which only goes to your
micro processor(an electronic device), nor video coming from a DVD,
which also goes to your micro processor.
Make sure you download your data to an external device other than drive
C. Drive C is your workhorse of drives and is the most likely to go. If drive
C fries, which is inevitable, your data fries as well. Data recovery is very
expensive. Also. When I buy my externals, I buy them as a group of 4.
All drives are given a copy of my data. What could happen, just check
below choices.

1. I spend available money on a terra byte drive and it fries with all my
data. I lose everything.

2. I spend available money on 4 drives that equal 1 terrabyte. One
drive fails and I lose 1 terrabyte - 320 gig. I still have my other 3
drives and other copies of my data.

Think I'll stick with option 2 because I don't have to repurchase my lady
Rasslin vids!

Even if your computer goes or you update with a new computer, all
you have to do is connect your externals with all your music and
rasslin videos to your new computer and all those religious conservatives
that want all this stuff banned for religious purposes are left decimated!

P. S. Just a hopefully helpful thought.

Redundancy is good!
Better to have multi-backups than just 1.

By the by, today I got a reply from the overseas site. After I nearly had my bank acct. hacked I had to lose half a workday to go to the bank & straighten things out, call credit alert companies to put out a 90 day watch on anyone attempting to open credit lines in my name, etc. not the least of which was to deny the hacker's attempt to charge my checking acct. $2000!

Well with suspicions in tow I contacted the site & told 'em to kill my membership. Unlike most sites we usually deal with, though, this is one of those sites who doesnt have its memberships handled by a company like ccbill.com. Its all in-house (a big red flag as far as I'm concerned now!) and to cancel a membership, you gotta e-mail this site.

So the message from this particular site?
"We'd love to cancel but since you contacted us too close to your renewal date, we were going to billl you for February...but our attempt to bill you was blocked by your bank!!!! Could you remove the block???"
Mind you, I currently have a membership w/ DT (after all the DT samples posted on here, how could I not?? ) and it went thru fine!

Now maybe this company's comps are compromised without their knowing so.
Regardless, I don't care. I learned a VERY hard lesson from this experience.
