Kick Ass Column #3
Pro Style Wrestling vs. Catfight Style Wrestling: How Do You View It? By: David Tees For nearly two years now, I have been a proud member of the Kick Ass Girlz/Knockout Girlz family as the reviewer of every single video on both websites. I have reviewed every form of match that both sites can throw at me, matches like oil matches, belly punching matches, competitive matches, breast smothering matches, fantasy kidnappings, professional style matches and a plethora of others. During my time covering both sites, I’ve spent a load of time browsing through the forums (and later the blog) and notice one very specific theme. That specific theme is that a good portion of the people who regularly visit the forum view and the majority of the topics on the forum, in some shape or form, portray the videos on KOG/KAG and other similar sites as a “fetish.” Now, during my time covering every video ever posted on KOG, I have viewed the all of the videos as professional wrestling videos. I say this because, although the majority of the people in the videos compete in bikinis, they wrestle a very professional styles match. Outside of a belly punching match (Christie Ricci/Deanna) and a boxing match (Kayla/Gianna), every match on KOG has been pro wrestling like. The opposite side of the spectrum from KOG is KAG, which features competitive entertainment of a different variety in a more catfight style type of entertainment. You are more likely going to see a ton more nudity and sexually suggestive type of video entertainment from KAG then you would from the KOG site. From the perspective of my work reviewing each video on both sites, my approach to both sites is exactly the same in every way. I write my reviews for the videos on each site in the same manner, where it is a pro style match or a breast smothering duel. However, while it is my duty to do each write up in a professional manner, it doesn’t mean those viewing the videos have to see it in the same manner. On the KOG website, you can view videos featuring a series of professional wrestlers like Christie Ricci (first KOG Champion), Valentina (current KOG Champion), Shelly Martinez, Amber O’Neal, Onyx (Bronco Billie in WOW), Becky Bayless and Raquel (Caliente in WOW). Those professional wrestlers are usually intertwined with a host of trained “cat fighters” in the squared circle. The battles on KOG are usually geared towards the pro style encounters, where matches usually end via pin fall, submission or knockout. There has yet to be a video, in my personal recollection, that featured a breast smother ending or ending with any form of nudity. However, outside of a few matches, most of the women featured in the videos compete in very skimpy outfits. Lets now travel to KAG, which it seems to be, is in a sense, the complete opposite of its sister site, KOG, in terms of content. As of this writing, there has yet to be a professional wrestler of any kind to compete in a video match on that particular site. KAG does feature a very large roster of fighters like Cali, Rosie, Deanna, Laura and a plethora of other stunning women. Unlike KOG though, KAG boasts other video types other than straight forward cat fighting, like erotic matches. In the erotic match section, it is not out of the norm for the female competitors to get nude and (for lack of a better term) fondle each other in sexual manners. This alone, is easily what separates one site from the other in terms of video content, pro style vs. catfight style fighting. So now, I’m going to pose a few questions to you folks on the forum… 1. Which site do you prefer, KOG or KAG? 2. Pro Style vs. Catfight Style wrestling, which do you like best? |
