Default Backyard boxing

In another thread I had used this as an example of a boxing brawl between two women who don't hate each other...well, on watching it again and listening carefully to their remarks, I guess they don't like each other very much. It's been a while since I saw this.

Anyway, this is an awesome example of female endurance and fighting spirit. They're not extremely skilled, but they give it everything they have. I also thought this was 5 rounds due to the restart at 7:54, but that's open to interpretation.

BTW, I love the exhausted expression on the girl's face at 7:45.

This is another - it's interesting how they're friends when not fighting - even hugging in round 1 - and ripping each other apart in round 2.

Where do these people live where they can get a bunch of HS kids together to have fights in someone's backyard without their parents or cops interfering? And why couldn't I have lived there?

I think this might have been an amateur fight club and the girls looked pretty pissed ( past the alcohol limit )to me. Just goes to show, women do wanna fight.

The first video was OK. I would've liked it a lot more if they'd have just let the girls go at it and didn't stop them every time they started really getting in to it. I guess it means that I don't care as much for boxing. I'd have liked to see what would've happened if they let the girls roll around on the ground and put hold on each other and stuff like that. There should be only one rule in cat fighting and that's that there are no rules. Let them duke it out in a no holds barred match up and see who really comes out on top. It's when there's a bunch of "thou shalt nots" getting in the way that it ruins it because then you hear, "if it wasn't for ______, then I would've won!" Give the loser no amunition to use, let them try anything they can think of to try to win so they have no excuses.

The round 1 and round 2 videos were decent but for the 3 or so minutes of total video time there was maybe 15-20 seconds of actual fighting. The rest of the time one of the girls was doing her hair or something. They also would've been better if the camera opperator actually used the zoom feature and got a few close ups of the action so you could actually see what was going on.

And I agree, it would be nice to have attended something like this back in the day. When I was a kid, me my two brothers and a couple of the neighborhood kids were just starting to get into pro wrestling, and we tried to do something similar (way before any of us knew anything about cat fights, I was in like 2nd grade) and it lasted one event. Once the weakest guy there tried to do the crane tecnique to his opponent it was all over, none of us could stop laughing and we couldn't take it seriously after that.

Yeah, round 1 was slow. Round 2 involved much more fighting though.

Either way it looks like there were lots of fights going on that night so I wish I could have been there.
